I use Arch BTW
Hello World
from Korea!
I'm Noa Himesaka, a student in Gyeonggi, South Korea. I help keep Linux running on Intel Macs, and I run a pile of self-hosted services called the YuruVerse from home.
This page used to say “Nothing else to see here, so just press the back button.” That was fair in 2020. Now there's stuff. Yui Funami has been telling me to update it.

Who even am I?
Student, with paperwork
English for International Conferences and Communication at HUFS. I used to call myself an “Amateur Translator” as a vibe. It's an actual degree programme now!
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS)
Bought lots of audiophile stuffs
I wrote a Roon plugin for my desktop shell and an MPRIS bridge for my media keys, plus a guide to running TIDAL Connect on a Gustard R/A26. Easily the most expensive hobby on this page, and I'm done buying. I regret none of it.
Roon
Stuff I run
The YuruVerse: self-hosted services since 2021, nearly all named after YuruYuri. Yui is technically in charge. Everything runs from Gyeonggi except the package mirror, which is on Oracle Cloud in Seoul.
It all lives at funami.tech
Chat, the fediverse instances, the Minecraft server and the package mirror each have their own page over there. More current than anything I'd write here.
Stuff I build
I'm a member of the t2linux project, which exists to make Linux behave on Intel Macs with Apple's T2 chip. The official Arch install instructions pull the kernel and a few packages from my repo, off my mirror. I also run the project's Matrix homeserver at chat.t2linux.org.
The rest is on GitHub. Go look at it.
Around the web
Four of these are mine and federated. GitHub and Steam are the holdouts.
Mostly goes to HRT. Yui gets the rest for electricity and disks.
